About Formwork

Formwork [web design & consultancy] is a web design agency founded January 2008 by Bas Mensink.

Bas Mensink - Project management / Web design / Development

Bas has a Master degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Being involved with the internet since 1993, he started as a web professional in 1999. In 2007 he moved to Malmö, Sweden.

He worked for two leading web agencies in the Netherlands and View Bas Mensink's profile on LinkedInhas been responsible for projects for e.g. Albert Heijn (Ahold), Reed Elsevier and Randstad. Bas has a strong focus on design and usability.

 

Pracha Thonthong - Graphic design / Art direction

Pracha is an experienced graphic designer and art director. He studied graphical techniques and media production at Malmö University. In 2008 he finished a course in Art Direction at Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm.

He worked as desktop publisher at Hemmets magazine. Since 2005 has he been responsible for the artwork at the graphic design department at Biltema Nordic Services. Pracha has a strong focus on branding.

 

Formwork targets on small to medium-sized companies and organizations. Formwork has a Swedish tax registration (F-skatt).

Wine expert Simon Axéll-Thoor

Formwork did the design and development of this website for wine expert Simon Axéll-Thoor in Malmö. Main goal of the site is to inform wine drinkers about his work and events, like wine tasting evenings.

The site is based on Joomla 2.5.

Club Trocadero

Club Trocadero was a legendary nightclub in Malmö during the early 80's. Almost 30 years later the owner published a book with unique pictures.

The website contains information about the book and a lot of pictures of the glory days. The site is optimized for viewing on the iPad.

The pages and image galleries can be maintained with Joomla CMS.

Formwork made a website for the new company Nordic Art & Design. During the design process we focused on a clear design and usability.

The website is build on Joomla 1.5 which makes it possible to extend the site with features like extra languages, shopping module and login for customers.
